The School to Work Project are hosting a webinar to discuss the NDIA’s Youth Employment Framework and recent changes to NDIS Employment Supports.

Guest speakers Mary Hawkins and Chris Drimal from the National Disability Insurance Agency (NDIA), Employment Branch, will provide information on:

  • Recent changes to NDIS Employment Supports
  • The importance of having employment goals included in a NDIS plan
  • How to best utilise employment supports
  • The interaction between NDIA & DES
  • Self Management and Employment Supports
  • Using Employment Supports to Facilitate Work Experience, and
  • The role of NDIA and education in relation to employment

Have any burning questions for the NDIA? The session will also include a Q & A segment.

School to Work aims to inspire and equip students with disability, through the support of families, to seek meaningful, paid employment in the community.

Families who are currently supporting their family member to access employment support through the NDIS. Professionals who want to better understand changes to employment support provided by NDIS.
